Funding Opportunities
Grant Support
The Colorado Longitudinal Study (COLS) is a nonprofit organization supported by grants through foundations, research organizations, and gifts from individual philanthropists.
COLS has raised nearly $3 million from organizations across Colorado including grants from the Colorado Office of Economic Development and International Trade, The Anschutz Foundation, the Boettcher Foundation, the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus, Colorado State University, and individual philanthropists. This initial funding is supporting the initial pilot project, which will begin in Fort Collins in 2022.
COLS will be uniquely poised to help researchers make breakthroughs to improve health locally, nationally, and internationally. We seek grant support from family and nonprofit foundations with a mission to improve the health of people around the world. We are also seeking grants from governmental agencies, academia, and corporations to fund specific research that will utilize the biological samples, data, and information collected and stored by COLS.
Consider Funding COLS
If you represent an organization that shares COLS vision to transform health, health care, and health equity for people around the world, we would like to talk with you about ways we can partner to achieve this goal. COLS has the ability to design custom research studies as well as focus research in specific areas. Please contact us to schedule an introduction. Thank you for your interest.
More Ways to Give
As a nonprofit organization, COLS is only possible through grant funding, research support, and gifts. Together, we can build one of the world’s most powerful resources that will provide researchers with the tools to perform groundbreaking, innovative research. This research will help doctors detect — and stop — disease long before it takes a toll. It will help public health officials understand what environmental and lifestyle factors make the biggest impact on good health — and then to advocate to create those conditions for all.
Make a profound impact by supporting COLS:
